The ABP graduate programme is a professional, structured course that mixes on-the-job training, practical experience and further professional qualifications, to prepare you for a junior management role in the food industry.

The graduate programme is geared towards jobs in many aspects of our business, from finance to procurement, human resources to engineering, and the one you choose depends on your interests and career goals. Our graduate programme accepts undergraduates and postgraduates from many different academic backgrounds.

Trainees & Apprenticeships

As a trainee or an apprentice you don’t need a college qualification to join us, as all your training is provided on the job. As part of our trainee programme you’ll get a 360° view of the business as you observe all departments at work. As you develop your skills, you will progress towards becoming a production manager or a supervisor on‑site.

Our apprenticeships are a great way to kickstart your career, with or without a college qualification. There’s no one-size-fits-all, so your training plan is tailored to your own ambition and interests. You get useful knowledge and skills through both on-the-job training and college placements, and we team you up with a mentor to learn the entire business from the ground up.
